I've been a very busy girl this week in many aspects, but I've also been quite productive with scrapping. I've created a total of 5 layouts and taught one class. I'm gearing up for the spring scrapbooking conference in Pocatello that is sponsored by Cindy's. I'll tell more about that another time.
As promised earlier, I designed another layout with the beautiful BellaBella line from My Mind's Eye. This is for a class that I'm teaching and I'm hoping to have some extras for my Etsy shop. I've been loving the heritage pages lately. It's fun to switch gears between scrapping my boys and then creating pretty pages. It allows me to experiment with different styles and techniques.
This photo is of my grandmother. I just love it! She looks so sweet standing on a chair in her little boots with all the buttons. I took an exerpt from her personal history where she told how she got her name, Wenonah. My biggest challenge was not having enough room to write all the things I wanted to. I was able to condense it down, though, and it still gets the point across.
I experimented some more with the Bazzill Stitching Templates. I did quite a bit of embroidery on these pages, but surprisingly, it only took about 30 minutes to do. I love the end result! The other nice thing is, there are plenty of leftovers from the die cut sheet to create more projects besides this layout. I guess it gives me even more excuses to use more BellaBella!
